Goal Getters - a Fast Forward Button for your Business

The Goal Getters programme for Party Planners is designed to help you get the results you want for your business quickly. We combine the focus of personal coaching, the power of a mastermind-style group and the effectiveness of group learning to make sure you see massive results in your business, fast!

You will have the opportunity to network and get to know people in other companies as you learn and brainstorm with them. Learn new things you've never thought of, and guide each other as you adapt them for your own business!

How it Works

You will be working with Anne Howie, director of The Party Plan Expert. Anne is a qualified Life and Business Coach who has more than 10 years experience in Party Plan selling and training, both from the field and corporate perspective. Read about her Party Plan experience here.

It's Intimate: You will be working in a small, supportive group of party planners. Everyone in the group will be at a similar level in their respective company, so that you will all be able to relate well to each other and your challenges. Thanks to technology, the people in your group could be anywhere in the world!

It's Sharing: Every month the group will come together online to encourage and recognise each other's progress, to share experiences, thoughts and new ideas, and to learn through webinar style training.

It's Personal to You: In addition to the group meeting, two individual coaching sessions per month are available to you. This allows us to work on your own individual challenges separately from the main group. These sessions will be 50-60 minutes long. Everything we discuss individually remains confidential unless you give permission for the information to be shared.

It's Secret!: You will enjoy being part of a "secret" Facebook group where only those involved in your Goal Getters group are permitted. In this group we can ask, share and discuss the many issues that come up as we work in our businesses. Your comments will not display on your personal profile, so customers and consultants will not see what we are talking about.

It's Newsy: There will be a monthly newsletter just for this group, where we will expand on ideas discussed with individuals in the coaching calls that will benefit everyone, give further support and ideas, and celebrate our success.

It's Extra Learning: You will have free access to all The Party Plan Expert webinars that are either scheduled to be delivered live, or currently exist in the store while you are part of this programme.

What will you Learn?

It's important that you learn what you need to, at the time you need it so that you can go straight out and implement the ideas and learning, without having to put them away in a notebook for later.

So, although we won't be following a preset recipe, there are three main areas that everyone will work on:

1. Looking at Ourselves

When we are clear about what we are working to achieve and why, and about all the blocks that may get in our way, we can clear the way ahead so we can enjoy a relatively smooth road as we work to improve our processes and business results. We want to enjoy our success not be exhausted by it!

You may have real challenges trying to keep a balance with your family life, find procrastination creeps in all too often, there are not enough hours in the day for everything, and sometimes you may even wonder what it is that you are really trying to achieve.

This part of our journey together is crucial if you are really to take your foot off the brakes – it's so important that we learn how to get out of our own way, to understand ourselves better and put processes in place that will make our lives easier in the long run. Once we can do this, we are ready to aim for the stars.

2. Better Basics

Before looking at building a strong team, it's important that we can do the job well ourselves. We must be good at sales, booking and recruiting before we have any hope of teaching anyone else to do this. We also need to work on developing great customer service so that we create a following – people who will buy from no-one else and feel connected to you and your business.

Not only must we be great at these things, we must be able to systemise and teach them so others can copy us.

You might feel that getting your basic business in shape is a large mountain to climb. Many people want to just start growing a team and business without getting the basics firmly in place first. They feel it will evolve as they go. This is a mistake too many people make and in the end it limits their growth.

We won't make that mistake. Once we are sure that your own personal business is well on the right track, we will spend time making sure what you are doing can easily be duplicated by others.

A strong foundation is the building block to an unshakeable business. We seem to often want to make the business more complicated than it should be. This is a simple business, and one that it's not difficult to put processes in place for. Once we have the basics running smoothly others will be able to do the same – and that is the key to creating a business that grows from strength to strength.

3. Team Growth and Strength

We have new people joining our team and some great business skills to pass on – but how can we do this in a way where people will really learn, actually take in the information and act on it. How do we get them started well and keep them engaged? People join with dreams of doing well, let's learn what we have to do to help them do that.

As well as that, as the team grows with more and more successful consultants joining it, we may find that we become busier and busier. Systems we had in place may no longer work as well as we get bigger. This is stressful and exhausting. We will learn how to develop systems that will allow our business to grow 3, 5 or even 10 times larger without increasing our workload.

Helping people is what this business is all about. Getting them started well and seeing them achieve beyond their imagination has to be one of the biggest buzzes around! We need to do this and we need to do it without burning out ourselves. In turn we will be setting a great example for budding leaders in our team to follow themselves – and as they take our lead, that's when we can look forward to our business becoming like a snowball – something that is unstoppable!
